Proud Moments for DSF - TYDE!We are thrilled to share two incredible achievements by our TYDE students who are making their mark through innovation, determination, and a passion for creating impact!
🌍 Ningaraj Shines on the Global Stage
Ningaraj, a TYDE student pursuing his Pre-University 1st year (Grade 11) at Government Boys College, 18th Cross, Malleswaram, has achieved an exceptional milestone.
Along with his team of five students, he has been selected to represent Team India at the 2025 FIRST Global Challenge, to be held from 29th October to 1st November 2025 in Panama City, Panama.
The team was selected and supported by Amazon Future Engineers, an initiative that empowers young innovators to explore technology and robotics.
The FIRST Global Challenge brings together students from over 190 countries, uniting them through STEM and Robotics to address real-world challenges and promote a healthier planet.
This is a historic moment as they become the first-ever team from a Government College and the first from Karnataka to represent India at this global event — a proud milestone for all of us!
Our heartiest congratulations to Ningaraj & the his team and our best wishes as they get ready to shine on the global stage!
🌟Veena & Vanitha Lead Innovation in AI and Sustainability
Veena and Vanitha, TYDE Scholars and 3rd-year B.E. students at Sri Venkateshwara College of Engineering, have been selected among the Top 30 teams across India in the prestigious C2S Grand Challenge under the Chips to Startup (C2S) Programme of the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology, Government of India.
Their project, “AI-Powered Robotic System for Detection and Removal of Plastic Carry Bags from Public Waste,” uses advanced AI vision technology to detect and automatically separate plastic bags from mixed waste — helping keep cities cleaner and supporting sustainable waste management.
Recognized among India’s top innovations, they have been awarded ₹3 lakh in funding to bring their idea to life and are now preparing to launch their own startup.
Our heartiest congratulations to Veena, and Vanitha for their outstanding achievements and wish them the best for their venture ahead!
The dedication, creativity, and perseverance of these students truly reflect the spirit of TYDE, empowering young minds to lead change through education and innovation. Wishing them continued success as they inspire others and make a lasting impact!
