Dr. Dhanalakshmi, a DSF-supported student has completed her MD in Anaesthesia from the prestigious AIIMS, Jodhpur and presently working as Neuro Anaesthetist at NIMHANS, Bengaluru. Dhanalakshmi had enrolled at DSF when she was pursuing her pre-university. She is the first in her family to graduate with a professional degree. But life was not easy for the girl as the family struggled to make ends meet with her parent’s meagre earnings. However, her top scores in her pre-university and NEET exams enabled her enrol for her MBBS at BGS Global Institute of Medical Science.

Dhanalakshmi was awarded a full scholarship from DSF in partnership with Meenakshi Foundation for her medical graduation. Her dedication and focussed efforts has been the hallmark of her bright career.
