Maitreyee Kumar
Founder, Executive DirectorMaitreyee started her career as software professional after her Master’s in Computer Science and worked with multinational firms in India and abroad, before she made a shift towards social development. Her desire for social change and interest in child development urged her to join CRY, where she worked for close to a decade and was instrumental in setting up their Volunteer Action division. She then moved on to start DSF with a group of likeminded individuals with a belief that “Education is the most vital instrument that can transform lives”.
Due to her keen interest in volunteerism, Maitreyee is involved with Weltwarts, a development volunteer service of the German ministry, as part of the evaluation process of the programme and facilitation of youth volunteer exchange from India to Germany.

Sabu Joseph
Founder, DirectorSabu is a facilitator, educator, executive coach and organizational change management consultant who has worked globally covering oil and gas, higher education, manufacturing and non-profits. For the last 25+ years, he has helped senior leaders and management teams expand communication, collaboration, engagement, performance improvement, and transform their organizations through increased efficiencies.
Sabu holds Postgraduate Qualifications in Social Work, Industrial Psychology and Human Resource Management. He is a recipient of the Commonwealth Secretariat scholarship in Environmental Education. Sabu’s passion is unleashing human potential and take transformative action that will deliver breakthroughs for disadvantaged children and communities.

Sunand Sampath
Founder, TrusteeAn industrial engineer and CEO (IQuest Adventure Sports), Sunand is a strong advocate for the cause of children. A volunteer for several initiatives, he was one of the prime founding members of the organization.
An Adventure and Outbound activities specialist, his organization conducts expeditions to various areas in the Himalayas & other places. He also conducts soft skills training for students & young professionals. He works closely with the DSF students to groom them through his outbound sessions.

Girija B. R
Director, Board MemberGirija is an Engineering Graduate from Mysore University and has worked in reputed IT companies for about 20 years with a long stint of 14 years with HP. As a PMP certified professional, she has managed large projects in Industrial Automation, Telecommunication and Service Management sectors and has participated in various quality (ISO, SEI CMMi) initiatives of the company. After about 20 years in the Software industry, she decided to pursue her passion for teaching. She started her journey with DSF as a volunteer to teach Science and Math. Over the period of time, she has taken the responsibility of managing/guiding various programs/initiatives of DSF.
Besides, she has also served as the president of Ladies Welfare Society of a Public Ltd. organization, wherein, she provided leadership on livelihood and employment generation opportunities for underprivileged

Sriram Ramji
Board MemberSriram is an experienced professional with 22+ years of experience in the IT Industry and is currently employed with Adobe Systems, India. In looking to give back to the community, Sriram started engaging with DSF as a part of Adobe’s Pro Bono Initiative and this small engagement initiated him to the world of Caring & Giving and motivated him to join DSF as a Board Member to support the cause of education and livelihoods and bring about the desired change.

Bhama Sridharan
Director – STEM EducationBhama has worked for various reputed software organizations for sixteen years before pursuing her passion for teaching pure sciences. She was a faculty of the Anubhava Science Foundation (ASF), which along with the Karnataka State Council for Science & Technology (KSCST), has conducted many experiential science courses for Government school-teachers. She is a part of ThiMk, an online programme for mathematics teachers across India to integrate effective learning, develop a love for the subject, demonstrate understanding through good academic performance, and enjoy the process of learning.
Bhama Sridharan holds a Masters’ degree (Honors) from McGill University, Canada and an MTech degree in Computer Science from IISc Bangalore. Bhama is leading DSF’s STEM programme. She has got a stand for life-long learning in children from marginalized communities.

Subramanian Parameswaran
Founder, Director – Dream School Foudation USASubramanian (Subbu) Parameswaran is an entrepreneur originally from Bangalore. He came to the United States to pursue a Masters Degree at Mississippi State University in 2002 and after working in the industry for more than a decade, co-founded a software startup in the Silicon Valley, The seeds of social responsibility was sown in his life when in the 6th grade he had an opportunity to teach English as part of a course, SUPW (Socially Useful Productive Work), to underprivileged children at the Rag pickers association in Bangalore, Karnataka.
He has since then been involved in contributing to society in some form or the other. Subbu was introduced to DSF – India through a close friend in 2006 and has been a supporter since. He is an avid reader of self-help and leadership books and loves to mentor people who want to bring out the best in themselves.

Archana D Hosangadi
Director- FinanceArchana D. Hosangadi has over 30 years of experience in banking, specializing in financial management, credit analysis, and regulatory compliance. As Chief Manager at Saraswat Co-operative Bank, she led operations across Karnataka, ensuring profitability, risk management, and team development while also engaging in community outreach.
Now transitioning to the NGO sector, Archana volunteers with the Dream School Foundation, supporting women’s empowerment programmes through financial planning, donor reporting, and literacy training. She is eager to apply her financial expertise to drive social impact in non-profit organizations.

Sagayaraj S
Manager – Admin and AccountsSagayaraj is managing DSF’s Accounts and Administration. He comes with over 18 years of experience in Community Based Rehabilitation and Education. He also manages the IT as well as the facility management of DSF.
He is passionate to contribute to the development of an inclusive society where every life is valued. Sagay consistently provides input to the programmes and always make sure that optimal benefits reach children and families by prudent account and administration practices. Sagay manages routine compliance matters to complex organisational matters and provides input to the board of directors on operating aspects of DSF.

Sharmila P
Programme Lead – Higher EducationA Graduate in Commerce from Bangalore University, Sharmila has over 18 years’ experience handling corporate Travel across the world for Multinational Companies. She began her Career with Microsoft as Travel Desk executive, moving up the career ladder with HCL Technologies and American online (AOL) as Manager – Travel, handling the entire Organizational travel requirements for India and abroad. She also worked with IBM India as Team Lead for their Global immigration Team. After a successful stint with the corporate world, she joined WEConnect, a US based NGO as Senior Consultant actively promoting their support for Women entrepreneurs.
She was fortunate to get an offer to work with Dream School Foundation thus fulfilling her ambition to contribute towards education. She is extremely excited about sharing her corporate knowledge and giving guidance to the Ten Plus Program students at DSF, to achieve their dreams.

Programme Manager – Higher EducationWith 10 years of experience and a degree in Journalism, Manisha Yadav is a seasoned Digital Marketing Manager turned Program Manager in the NGO sector. She has led data-driven campaigns across SEO, social media, and content marketing, especially in start-up environments, where she’s known for her strategic thinking, leadership, and attention to detail.
Now working in the social impact space, Manisha leverages her marketing and communication skills to design and manage programmes that support underserved communities. Her transition to the NGO sector reflects a deep commitment to purpose-driven work and creating meaningful change.
