Volunteers are an integral part of
our programmes to achieve our objective of mobilizing
people to improve the quality of education and ensure
the right to quality and equitable education.
We
at DSF value and cherish the spirit, energy, skills and
perspective of individuals and groups. However, for us
volunteering is much more than your time and skills.
It’s also a thought process and way of life to add and
build perspectives on issues related to social
development and responsibilities. We believe that civil
society participation and engagement is the only way of
a desired social change. We call for people with desire
and potential to be a part of creating the sustainable
instrument of social change through
education.

The School Support Team works towards
Holistic Development of Schools. Be a part of running
the specific programmes mentioned below or be a part of
the School Support Team and strengthen the School in
various aspects.

Reading
Programmes
|

In collaboration with
different resource organisations and groups, Reading
Programmes in English and Kannada are conducted to
enhance the language skills of the children. Training
and detailed User Manuals will perfect you with the
necessary skills to conduct these sessions.

Activity Based
Learning Programmes
|
|
| |
Be it Mathematics, science or
vocabulary… You can make it more effective with field
tested Activity based learning programmes. Our trainers
will train you to conduct these programmes in an age
appropriate manner. You can also help in the making of
resource material as per specifications by the resource
people.

Computer Aided
Learning Programmes

Our Computer Aided Learning
Programme is designed with multimedia content sourced
from various ends taken to the school by our
representatives and eventually handed over to the
teacher, who can utilize it as a teaching aid in her
classroom. You could help to conduct these sessions and
introduce the packages to the teachers. |

Sports and PT
sessions

If you are an outdoor person
and love to play with kids, you can be a valuable
resource at the schools which lack a PT teacher. |
