Responsibilities:

The key responsibility is “teaching computers” for children of class 4 – 10 in the specific government schools in North Bengaluru. This will include:

• Planning lessons and activities that facilitate students’ interest, confidence and learning
• Observing and managing classroom dynamics to ensure a conducive learning environment
• Invigilating and grading projects, quizzes, and examinations to assess students’ progress
• Tracking and communicating students’ advancement throughout the course.
• Ensuring cleanliness, safety, maintenance and upkeep of computers (hardware/ software) and other equipment in the lab.
• Submitting periodic reports as required by the school/ DSF management
• Working with the school management and ensuring alignment to the school timetable, policies and practices.

The selected candidate will be reporting to the Programme Manager at DSF.

Qualifications:

• A Graduate degree in computer science/ computer applications or any graduate with excellent knowledge of basic computers and MS Office.
• Excellent communication skills in English & Kannada.

Stipend: The candidates will be paid a stipend of Rs.15,000 per month.
