Dream Champions Programme

Enormous talent and potential lies hidden within India, especially in our countrys low-income youth, who find themselves in mediocre careers and lifestyles due to poor quality education and mentoring. These children are in urgent need of knowledge empowerment to enable them to maximize their potential. The challenge before us is to create excellence among the underprivileged section be it in the field of business, education, science & technology, health, social work, media, arts and so on. This can be possible by providing low-income students with economic support and raising their aspirations and capacities through intensive training (academic and life skills), mentoring and networking.

Dream Champions aims to provide scholarships to high caliber, meritorious, and socio-economically deprived students for High school education. The objective is to make these students eligible for admissions in topnotch institutions of higher learning and to assist them to excel in their field of interest. These initiatives will pave the way for creating leadership at a young age; subsequently transforming these students into greater heights in terms of academic discipline, work ethic, community service and personal development.

This is a collaborative programme between DSF and Sackhumvit Trust

Programme Components

• Provision of School Choice & financial assistance for fees INR 20,000.00 year for students to spend on academic and personal interests. This includes academic coaching through subject experts.
• Educational & Personal interest Resource Provision
• Academic and curriculum based inputs and coaching - Subject and language coaching through structured workshops
• Co-curricular activities to enrich the knowledge in various fields like astronomy, environment, sports and other related topicsCo-curricular activities to enrich the knowledge in various fields like astronomy, environment, sports and other related topics
• Leadeship trainings - Interaction with leaders from different field
• Mentoring - Age appropriate one to one mentoring
• Career Counseling & Networking opportunities - Spot talents at early stages and groom them for a career of their choice
• Life Skill Education - enhancing personal competencies for success through a proven life skill methodology by trained trainers
• Library Enhancing reading abilities and information gathering
• Exposure Trips
• Parenting Workshops.

Programme involves close monitoring and support from DSF educational facilitators and counselors.
